Forest T. Cushman, 69, Veedersburg, died unexpectedly at 2 p. m. Wednesday of an apparent heart attack in the yard at his home. Mr. Cushman was born at Fancier, Ill., and retired in January from Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica. Prior to that he was employed many years by the Big 4 Railroad. In 1918, in Vienna, Ill., he was married to Clora Segers who survives. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Stillertown, Ill. Surviving with the widow are three sons, Ralph "Curly" Cushman of Veedersburg, Albert "Peck" Cushman of Rt. l, Attica, and Roland Cushman of Russellville; three brothers, Alva of Veedersburg, Clay of Kenwood, Calif., and Cecil of Kankakee, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Fogle of Herrin, Ill., Mrs. Viola Reuhle of Vincennes and Mrs. Velma Rozell of Danville, Ill.; two half sisters, Mrs. Shirley Butterick of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Zola Booe of Hillsboro, and a step-brother, Carl Roark of Veedersburg. Friends will be received at the Parham Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral services at the Veedersburg Methodist Church at 2.00 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Vernon Souder officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery at Covington. - jlr
